I was glad to see Shurmur go back then and marveled at the idea that he got a HC gig. Of course, it was the Browns and Shurmur wasn't quite ready to save THAT organization. But, much like Foles, put Shurmur in the right situation with the right pieces and his offense can be effective. I don't think that situation was with the 2011 Rams and I think Shurmur has grown a lot since his time with the Rams.Quote

In 2010 Bradford did okay as a rookie under Shurmur although the offense was criticized for being limited. They went 7-9. There were no other circumstances with the team that mattered...it was all the qb and the coach.
In 2017, Bradford started out brilliantly in Minnesota, but was taken down by injuries. The offense, coordinated by Shurmur, earned much praise. There were no other circumstances that counted...it was all the qb and the coach.
This goes to show.
Shurmur is far superior to Shurmur.
I mean it's obvious.
So I would take Shurmur over Shurmur any day.
