Which is a darned good thing for the Eagles. Wentz is not certain to be fully recovered by opening day. Might be much later, even.

He'll be going from Super Bowl MVP to backup sometime next season.

Or maybe they'll treat him as found money and trade him for picks sometime next year. That would be gutsy.
