How many attempts have there been to start another football league? How successful have they been and how long have they lasted? I don't think any have been around more than 5 years. We've seen the United Football League, World Football League, United States Football League, XFL, Fall Experimental Football League, Major League Football and how have they done? I'm not saying there's not a need for a developmental football league, there is. But for one reason or another, none have worked out very well thus far, even when some decent names are attached to them. God bless him for wanting to try again, but I'm not holding my breath.
