He accepts an interview invitation and in it he praises Keenum, Foles, and McVay. Also speaks the truth about lack of receivers and overall talent compared to the Rams today. Finally, he says they lacked experience at the coordinator position-"which I take responsibility for".
Yet-we continue to pound, pound, pound on the guy. Someone once said that by putting people down all the time it makes one feel superior to others.
He is asking for it.
He knows he's gonna get asked questions about why he failed with the Rams. He says he doesn't want to talk about the Rams, then he goes on to say how he did so well beating the Hawks. He wants it both ways.
He's like the little kid who is cheating at the card game WAR by playing the same Ace over and over.
He should stay off the interviews if he doesn't want the heat.
