It's like they don't even watch the games......they had Todd Gurley ranked like 16th rated RB going into week 13 this year.
They have 5 QB's ahead of Goff that have no business being ahead of him....they're rankings are absolute joke most of the time.
They are routinely laughed at by most people on Twitter when they release they're epic fail rankings.
subscribe to their service.
NFL teams and college football programs are notorious for subscribing to "joke" player ranking and scouting services.
And of course the fact that former NFL coaches review and either confirm or edit every player ranking further serves to underscore their joke rankings. I mean what do former NFL coaches know? Surely it's a lot less than random laughing Twitter people..
Lol...you mean team are using PFF to run their drafts and scout their free agents.... Of course teams will use sites like PFF, ESPN, NFL.com, heck even Walters....but do they live by it or rely on it as gospel???
It's not just Twitter
Google it.
There are lots of articles questioning their analytic and who exactly is qualified at PFF
Ah, you ignored the part were NFL teams and college football programs PAID for their info similar to how they pay for other scouting services.
No one pays for ESPN, NFL.com, Walters, etc. That's not the same at all. Nice Try!
You also ignored the part where I pointed out that they have a partnership with NFL Coaches Network and former NFL coaches review and confirm or edit every ranking.
People have been questioning PFF for years. That's nothing new. I've had several debates with well respected posters here about them. And these respected posters have always had valid points.
My issue isn't with someone questioning their analytics or qualifications - although you would think the partnership with NFL Coaches Network would put the qualifications concern to bed - my issue is with labeling them as a joke. That is way over the top and IMO is the joke.
Once an NFL teams pays for your opinion you have officially moved away from the realm of being a joke. I guarantee that if any poster here were to reveal that they consulted for even one NFL team, their status and opinions on all things football would instantly sky rocket.
And no I never said they were relied on as gospel. There is a huuuuuge gap between being relied on as gospel and considered a joke.
I don't need Twitter twits and Google peeps opinions once it's discovered that a scouting/ranking platform is a consultant to millionaire professionals of the NFL. That's enough info right there to give them some credibility.
