McVay is a very talented coach for sure with all the needed areas of ability to do well, but IMO the RAMS did as well as they did because of the assistants he had working with him (notice I said working with him, not for him). Phillips and Bones could well be the best in the NFL at their position areas. As good as Sean is, without those 2 working with him the O wouldn't have improved as much as it did. They would have gotten better, but not to the extent that they did IMO. Without the abilities of Johnny, Cooper, and Greg (158 pts). add in what the D did in TO's and scoring themselves.....well it really improved Seans' appearance.....forgot to mention all the blocks on ST's ......

Teams are going to go try find a second Sean, but without the other 2 pieces they will fall short of redoing what the RAMS did and are going to do in the next seasons to come.
