I don't think that means he has a learning disability or such like that you suggested. People just learn at different rates.
I'm sure S&M will factor that - the good and the bad - into how much they should offer him.
Last year they projected that Woods would surpass his limited production in Buff. and thrive in McVay's scheme. They were right. They'll likely have to do a similar projection with Watkins.
