Regular season
Or the playoffs??
I have a gut feeling McVays offense isn't championship caliber. Legit playoff teams will have no problem game planning a win.
The book is out on this offense unfortunately.
for years we hear and read that in the playoffs the windows get tighter, the contact is higher (in terms of coverage, the let 'em play), and all that. Is the Rams offense a "finesse offense".
It needs the scheme to get WRS to pop open. And pop open they did all year for chunk gains. But in playoffs where guys like Brady, manning Ben, etc make their bones the windows get tight, the receivers have to be more physical.
I think all that happened is a good team beat another good team. Rams may have, MAY have been nervous, tight, (fumbles) but Falcons get paid to play, too and they are on a revenge tour and may have been movtivated more. But Rams are good, but are they ready to be great?
