Last year Goff played / started in 7 games and lost every one of them. His stats pale in comparison to Garoppolo's in a similar "sample size". There were many here and throughout the NFL that were labeling him a bust..... A BUST!!! So another Question.....were those 7 games in which Goff played at the end of the year "meaningless? If so, why not more success?
Jimmy G can play. He has done more with less in those five games than most QBs in the NFL could have done. The Niners' roster is depleted of talent and was also ravaged with injury. Put Goff on the Niners and see what happens. You think he has the same success?
No, not a similar sample size. Jimmy G. has been groomed for the past 3 years in one of the best football organizations in the history of the league.
Goff was groomed in the one of the most dysfunctional offenses in football last year...
despite facing a Ram defense that sat their starters, Jimmy G got picked twice against guys that never played this season.
