So there was 1 test of a playoff atmosphere on the road against a good team and the Rams got a F in the last 5 minutes of the game.
And probably a C for the rest of the game.
The team couldn't deal with the crowd noise. There was confusion at the Line of Scrimmage. They had a hard time getting plays off in time despite being in a so called hurry up offensive set.
I get the 7-1 record, but the Saints had a 7-1 record at home so you look at that too. And frankly that last 5 minutes on the one loss on the road is enough for me to think this is a bad decision. It was a complete mess and the team got the ball left with like 1 second left in the game because hurry up meant using the entire play clock and when they had to punt, there was no time left after a stop.
A lot of that I believe is a young team playing on the road in a big time game trying to play that style of making adjustments at the line of scrimmage.
