I would trade for Watkins again and make it a priority to resign him. He has been excellent. The numbers arent there but the production definitely is there.
Watkins is always attacking the strength of the coverage. For example, versus the Titans LeBeau was running either a single high safety in a 5 under one deep look, or he was in thirds coverage. On the touchdown to Kupp, Watkins was assigned the responsibility of pulling the safety. Watkins lines up solo left, and run a streak up the left seam, the single high safety moves towards Watkins(towards his right). Kupp, on the right, runs the corner to the left. With no safety to contend with, Kupp has an easy one on one.
Additionaly, Goff is horribly inaccurate when throwing to Sammy. Sammy is open consistently. The other receivers are feeding off of his work.
