I have not watched any full game of his but I believe he's playing good football. Why would others feel they have to hype anything for the 49ers?

No, I trust Nick Wagoner who covers the team and he's been saying the same things.
At the same time, I'm very happy with Jared Goff as the Rams QB and see that he has unlimited ceiling and upside as a QB in this league.
I also see what McVay has done for this team and what the Rams have done has been over a full season not over 4 games. If the game meant something to the Rams this Sunday I'd pick the Rams to win.
As it is, they still may win with Mannion at QB as they will have a Josh Reynolds, Michael Thomas and Pharoh Cooper out there. Also lets not forget Justin Davis may start in place of Gurley and Justin Davis has that one cut acceleration and burst that only elite backs have.
This could still be an explosive Rams offense this Sunday. Don't hand this game to the 49ers just yet.
