Statistically how many would have had the confidence in our season if Goff had 4 tds and 3 int in his first 4 games
I think Garappolo is being a bit hyped on the positive side because of his NE/Brady ties and his skill set.
Funny that NE traded him away for very little in comparison to the cost of getting our developmental pick in Goff. In less than 1 year Goff is a ranked # 8 with a 100.5 passer rating.
New England knows what they gave up but perhaps they do not know his full ceiling but I will say the same that the Rams know what they gave up and still without knowing Goff's ceiling know that he is well worth it.
Its hard for me not to notice that no one is being critical of Jimmy G for his turnovers and yet Goff's were proof that he was over whelmed and not equal to the task and unfit for the position.
You got to love it. The Irony of it all. Many now are suggesting that they the 9ers are on equal footing at QB with us in 2018 if not already. Garappolo has twice as many seasons in this league but not as a starter and yet could only garner what the 9ers gave up to get him in order to pry him from the Pats. I don't know but I will take Goff in a heart beat for what we gave up.
