For me too.
2017 was the worst year of my life .
My aunt died in May due to cancer.
My mom had a leg operation in January and when she woke up she was a different personality.
She alleged me that I was trying to kill her, stealing her money and so on.
It got so bad I had to cut off any contact with here by recommendation of a psychiatrist and the police.
Then in August I learned that she had cancer to almost all her internal organs. I also found out she had fallen for two totally strangers, one an attorney and one a gardener who took a lot of money from her bank accounts.
She died only 7 days after I found out about all of this. I did not see her again before she died. In the days after her death I realized she was on heavy opiats and morphins for months and that she had developed early stage of Alzheimer. Her doctors did not say a word about it to me.
Now I have to fight her will where she ruled me out of everything.
But threw all this bad times my wife and children have gotten even closer than before so that is big positive of an otherwise horrible development.
Dodgers and Rams have been a much needed distraction for me threw this year. Too bad the Dodgers where not able to win that one last game.
Hopefully the Rams will go deep into postseason.
