And Demoff was also the point man for the move so many fans disliked him for that (understandable for some) however, I believe he left the decision of Snead up to McVay. If there was no chemistry I do believe the Rams would have gone in another direction similar to the Falcons when they hired Dan Quinn if he did not get along with Thomas Dimitroff. But McVay & Snead were right in step from day one and as to Jeff Fisher I realize he had total autonomy and brought in many players, but not only was Fisher a liability as a HC offensively, but his coaching staff on that side was a joke too.
McVay's staff including OL Coach Aaron Kromer to Strength & Conditioning coach Ted Rath have been outstanding and thus is the reason the Rams sit at 10-4 currently. Never understand Fisher with the hires on the offensive side of the ball, but that has passed. Demoff really wanted Jon Gruden told him he was not coming back to coaching Gruden then informed Demoff that Kyle Shanahan was good, but Sean McVay was special, Demoff listened and McVay blew them away at the interview (plus he sounded like Gruden) and having Wade Phillips in his back pocket sealed the deal. Snead just needed to hit it off with McVay and he did and thus the perfect union was formed.
