Wentz has 9 fumbles this year and 22 in his career.
Goff has 4 fumbles this year and 9 in his career (only 7 games last year but behind a catastrophe OL).
What I find interesting here is that anytime Goff has fumbled the small hands refrain gets sung, and how this is a big issue. Yet, I never hear that Wentz has any issues with putting the ball on the ground.
My view is that Wentz's game carries the risk of fumbling. That’s one of the downsides to his physical play. The other is risk of injury, although the rules protect him a lot better than they did with Steve McNair, who I think is his best comp.
Give a QB with good pocket awareness a quality LT and hand size is not the big issue people say it is.
