When I read the board, I am perplexed on the absolute certainty many fans have that Cooper and Reynolds are the next coming of Issac Bruce and Tory Holt. I actually think it is a stretch that they will be this diamond in the rough player like Stefon Diggs of the Vikings.
Cooper has 56 yards of receiving and 3 fumbles
Reynolds has 65 yards of receiving.
While neither have gotten that many opportunities, it surprises how many posters have them penciled in as the next Bruce / Holt combination. I just don't see it yet. Maybe, they could be good and worth a peek, but my guess is they will be more like
Bailey
Sasser
Givens
Quick
Salas
Pettis
Gilyard
Foster
Avery
Burton
Stanley
Hagans
Ridgeway
Curtis
McDonald
I feel Curtis and McDonald were the picks of this list mostly because they got to work with Mike Martz which may be the same with these guys, but even Curtis and McDonald while productive were limited with what they could do and replacing a top guy with a limited guy usually ends with lesser results.
Would love for them to be the next Stefon Diggs but don't see any validation of that being a certainty like many others seem to believe.
