Without looking at the video (I have not watched it) that Belicheat was answering a question in reference to the historic yards his defense was giving up.
And in THAT case he's right. If they're giving up yards and not points of course that's the bottom line.
So this is apples to oranges.
We're not looking at the Rams scoring defense, we're looking at an individual player.
I would also bet that Garcon's 7 catches for what 145 yards contributed to the Whiners scoring 39 points.
I could name other receivers that have done well against Tru.
I would also bet that Tru's targets/catch percentage against is one of the highest in the league.
He ain't worth nowhere near $16M per.
