like a news broadcaster being given word for word on-air content the league created the system...... the crowds are so loud and intense that clubs complained thus the helmet speaker
News broadcasters or anyone in public speaking reading a prompter are not getting an unfair advantage over the competition leaf because everybody does it, and it is accepted practice. So I take some issue with that example.
The helmet speaker was designed for the sideline to call in plays in lieu of hand signals and to combat crowd noise.
IMO if McVay is the one reading the defenses after they are set and changing plays to Goff that IS cheating.
It's gaining an unfair advantage and I don't like it.
I wouldn't like it if another team was doing it to the Rams, so I don't like it across the board.
The Rams are lining up quickly enough to give time for the defense to get set, sometime they might check out other times they may not.
If you notice the Vikings game they checked out on defense a LOT and fooled the Rams all game. WHY?Watch the play clock when Goff is changing plays, they runl it down to the second.
I think they're doing it and I don't like it and is that really helping Goff develop?
