Do not under any circumstances disparage one of my all time favorite qbs. I've yet to see anyone throw the ball harder and longer than Dieter. His out throws to Ellard were legendary. In his only season with the Rams (33 yrs old) he led them to a division title and the no. 2 seed in the playoffs. He also broke most all passing records the Rams had at the time.
