Personally unless Johnson's contract demands come down I let him walk. I don't let need dictate overpaying. He remains a good (top 25-30?) but not great (top 10-12) CB and I would not give him a $10M+/year deal. I would keep investing in pass rushers while adding a CB in the top 3 rounds of the draft and maybe also signing another mid-level FA.
This is my preferred route I would like them to go.
Once Watkins came aboard, that also complicated the TruJ decision. I'm not seeing how they keep both (unless they've decided not to give AD an early extension.)
So...I see the best and most likely outcome as letting TruJ walk. He's not an elite CB anyway thus he's replaceable via the draft.
