on defense:
1) a monster NT (Vince Wilfork type) to clog up the middle, it will greatly improve the run game and would either mask or lessen our need for thumper inside linebackers
2) Rush linebacker (Similar to Von Miller), as said many other places the mighty Quinn is not the monster he once was but having a monster rush OLB paired with the havoc AD, Brock can cause would make this defense elite.
3) Inside Linebacker (Ryan Shazier type) I think it best to move AO to the OLB opposite our new rush linebacker and get a thumper to pair with Barron inside.
4) we need an above average corner if Tru bolts to deal with most playoff teams elite WR (probably best served in FA since our Herd draft guys say this year isn't a good one for CB's)..
on Offense:
1) A OLT of the future/RT of the present (sort of La'el Collins). The Texans game showed me that teams see Hav as the weak link of the offensive line, he is too slow footed and in an age where the best pass rushers switch sides to find the weak spot, Hav can't be hid on the right side. We need a young Tackle with the potential to one day replace our current vet one, but that would be an upgrade our game but limited current RT.
2) Upgrade at TE, I don't see a TE like the NYGiants have (Evan Engram) that can take over games on this roster, it would be a valuable weapon to have especially in the red zone.
Since everything revolves around supply and demand the hardest to find and thus requiring the highest draft or FA priority are the rush linebacker and corner, good inside linebackers and NT's can be found later on because they aren't prioritized like good pass rushers are. Could it be done in one offseason? Mayhaps if the time and energy put into remaking the offense last year is put into the defense this year.
