How many offensive weapons is too many?

Yes, I do believe you can overcrowd a room.

Watkins, Woods and Kupp are a formidable trio.
Austin is complimentary.
Gurley is a 3 down back and so the only time he comes out is for a rest.

Where does Reynolds, Thomas, and Pharaoh Cooper fit? Depth is one thing; but these 3 are going to get precious few reps on game day in the offense because it takes reps away from the other guys.

And we're still not even talking about TE's yet.

The Saints understood you can overcrowd a room and traded AP away and the room thrived as a result.

It is great to hear about spreading the ball around and the concept sure seems to work on the football field. But the guys catching the ball know that their numbers are going to determine the amount of that all important 2nd contract.

So do the Rams have a problem with too many weapons?
I can say this: other than perhaps for drafting a TE, I sure can't imagine the Rams drafting ANY offensive skill player in 2018.

To me, it's having different types of weapons to find that one mismatch to exploit
