Nonsense. Ironically, when it comes to the anthem protests, the "PC" view is to force players to stand and to endlessly bash them for expressing their Constitutional rights.
The NFL was already heavily "politicized" long before these protests. Just playing the anthem and trying to compel people to stand for it is obviously "political." IMO, it's also authoritarian.
