That's really the point, isn't it?
Why in the world is he in the HOF? He's Jerry Jones. He has had probably more influence on relocations, expansion, marketing, rules changes, hiring of a Commish, etc., than any other single owner simply by force of personality.
It's not whether you like him or not (I'm not a fan). It's simply understanding that when Jerry Jones speaks, the other owners listen. He has clout. He seems to have his finger on the pulse of the fan base. He sees opportunities that the others don't. He has an ability to persuade others to come to his viewpoint. In any group of influencers, one will eventually rise above the others. It's human nature. In the NFL, it's Jerry Jones.
Roger Goodell is no match for Jerry Jones. Hirelings never are.
