Don't discount Jones' ability to derail Goodell. Or at least extract some very serious concessions and changes about what Goodell does, or what his authority is, going ahead.
Polian was a hireling; not an owner. So I don't think he's a good judge of how Jones ought to go about things.
I think Jones's leadership is awful and takes the league in bad directions.
And of course going rogue is a different thing from influencing people as a leader.
I could care less about ownership btw and Polian knows more about it than them or us.
