Tavon will remain through ‘17 since the trade deadline has come and gone.

Tavon will be tradeable next offseason. So that might be an attractive Ram option.

But, if no trade is doable, I see two choices.

1) The FO decision is made that Tavon is the best possible use of the $3 million effective cap dollars (after the “sunk cost” $5 million in dead money whether he stays or goes). In this scenario Tavon is a Ram for ‘18.

2) The FO decision is made that another player(s) would provide greater bang for their $3 million bucks. In this scenario Tavon is released next offseason.

IMHO, scenario #2 is a distinct possibility. Some poster opinions may vary. Lol.

Yeah, I do like him. The issue is not if I like him $8 mil worth

RockRam195November 01, 2017 08:01AM

  $3 Million

And I respect your opinion as well.

I think the next 9 weeks will answer the question.

  Ram's won't release him to save $3M

CeeZar198November 01, 2017 09:03AM

In addition, the Rams have $48M in cap space next year.

  Well, sort of anyway
