I'm on record as I preferred Goff over Wentz before the draft. But it was only logical to be concerned after last year. I needed to see him step up early this year and he has. I certainly wasn't making any dopey statements like: my expert analysis is complete and its clear to me that McVay will bench Goff at the bye, or some such nonsense.
