You just named 2 McVay losses. So, they are like...McVay losses.
Meanwhile the Fisher Rams beat Seattle in 3 of the 4 last games they played, and that was with Foles and Keenum.
In fact in the first game in 2015 Rams came from behind to tie in the final minute and then won in overtime. And that was with Foles and without Gurley.
People can think what they want about Fisher. Personally, I think he did better than we had a right to expect considering most of his games were played with extensively damaged OLs and #2 caliber qbs.
And people can think what they want about McVay. Personally I like him and think he looks like a winning coach for the next decade.
But, sometimes, facts get mixed up on these issues.
Fisher beat Seattle in close games. With less on offense than what the Rams have now.
I assume McVay will get there too.

I think Vermeil knew what we were as the GSOT. He knew that we were a high octaine offense and we needed to play like that even in crunch time and resist the urge to play conservative in high pressure games. There is plenty of footage on record that shows Vermeil telling Martz to keep the pressure on the defense and don't let up.
I think that's what our offense has now become. It's an attack offense and McVey tightened up yesterday. It looked like a Fisher offense some drives.
Mcvey is still learning, as is our entire offense and team is, but I think in our two losses, we became conservative in crunch time. It's glaringly evedent.
Yes, Seattle's defense is great, but you need to stay true to who you are as an offense in crunch time or not.
