I'm not one for the wait until next year stuff. I've always found that to be fools gold.
It has nothing to do with our own tolerance for waiting or inability to do it.
The Rams situation is the Rams situation and whether or not we are patient or impatient has no influence on that one way or another.
Sure they can make the playoffs this year if they don't stumble too much in year 1 (though teams tend to stumble in year 1).
But the fact that I personally am patient with that means nothing really outside of my own emotional world.
I could be impatient and demand they make the playoffs or bust and that will simply not mean anything in terms of what the team objectively does.

We've both been watching this game for a very long time.
From what I've seen, every year is different. You just can't predict with any degree of certainty what will happen from year to year.
So many times you'll hear that a team is just a year away, and yet they never get there.
Will the Rams be "there" next year? Maybe, maybe not.
I am just not one who gets wrapped up in the next year thing anymore.
I mean, if it happens then great. But I don't feel any better one way or another thinking that next year is gonna be the year we get there.
