And they did try to force the ball to him way to much trying to get him involved in games. And that's going back to Schotty. Again, just my opinion.
He catches the ball. Just not with the assumed consistency of an actual pure receiver. But then he's NOT a receiver, he's something else. He's a weapon who threatens to take it all the way with every touch, run or pass. And that has value. See him that way and all the issues disappear. He's not a move the chains receiver--he's a threat to score. In 2015 he caught 60% of his targets. That's good. Since what you look for with Tavon is a homerun threat that scares the defense, then 60% is fine.
I find that most people who complain about Tavon judge him as a pure receiver. But that's not what he is. And I was saying that before they drafted him.
