Interesting to me.
There's an old saying: Perfect is the enemy of good.
Several interpretations exist, but the gist is that striving for the perfect can undermine achieving (or being satisfied with) what is already good.
Sammy Watkins is a good thing for the Ram offense.
The best thing that's happened to the Ram receiving corps in a long time. Since Bruce/Holt time, which is longer ago now than it seems.
And people are viewing him with a jaundiced eye because he might get injured again. Which could happen to any player at any time, really.
People are saying wait on signing him. If the Rams think that way, too, he might just be gone again next year.
And we can keep looking for the perfect while the good slips through our fingers.
