but at the same time, its his 9th game. And he played against an opponent who knows the offense better than he does. So I am not faulting him at all. But you need better QB play, especially if the defense is going to be poor.
And the defense really was a let down. They rallied a bit but they couldn't maintain it. Here's the one area that familiarity should have favored the Rams. If I recall correctly it took Gregg Williams 6or 7 games to get his defense established. So perhaps its just the process. But it could also be that the Rams don't have the personnel or the talent... Either way, the defense was pretty bad and it could have been worse. In fact it could have been worse on both ends because luck favored the Rams for the most part.
I still think the familiarity that the two team had of each other makes this a hard game to make a lot of judgments.
I agree that this team is about where it should be. But I still think its about game 6 where we can start making judgments based on some patterns.
