So, the family and I are headed to the Washington game on Sunday, but we're undecided on transportation. Of course I can drive, but I'm leery of having to pay $75 to park 3 miles away from the stadium (only somewhat joking there).
I'm coming from Santa Clarita and I know that the Metro can get me there with no problem. But leaving (with everyone else) might be an issue. No, there likely won't be 90K in attendance, but still...
Any thoughts on the matter based off of experience?

I found a secret spot for tailgating for $50 a spot for you.... It's right off of 39th and Vermont as you turn into Lot 2 parking.
I noticed people parking under the trees in between Lot 2 and Lot3 and asked the parking attendant how they were able to park there? He said its first come first serve and its $50.
If you get there early like by 9am there should be a spot or two open...it's great parking !!! Tailgate, 500 ft from stadium, easy out after the game.
