I believe Jim Everett was as accurate a thrower in 1988-89 as anyone I ever saw previous to his time in the NFL (see 1989 playoffs vs Giants). ANd, his O line and everything set up very nicely....but after that he stopped being 'very good'---so, 2 pro bowls--that's it? That ain't sayin' much.
Goff has the feet and guts that Everett never had. I expect better than Jimbo, if Goff develops. Everett never developed, imho. I do have to say EVerett could throw from awkward angles, with great accuracy...Goff may get there, or he may not get to that caliber of accuracy, but he scans the field already...did jimbo do that in 1987...well, not very well in the first 6-8 games.
