Those of us who have been in an environment where we depended on other people for our success, whether it be sports or business, this Donald thing goes against the grain of what a true team player is all about.
Forget about the fans. Thats not my point here. My point is your team is depending on you for their success.
And what are you doing? You are not satisfied to make more money than not only any of your teammates you want more money than anyone in your field even though you have an existing contract with your organization.
No one in the history has ever done this before. Two years left on a contract and bailing on his team when he is being offered a huge contract extension by the organization when they are under no legal obligation to do so.
I would like to know one person who has ever worked in a team environment where their success depended on one of their colleagues doing their job well who understood when the guy bailed on them cause he was trying to "maximize" his salary to record levels when he was already under contract.
And now, what if the guy only comes back, not help the team be successful, but just to get his time in so he can leave the organization early.
I don't get it. If Donald stays out for half a year and only comes back to punch the clock, I would want nothing to do with the SOB.
