i would respond in more detail if i believed you believed what you wrote. However, no one could legitimately advocate for wentz over goff by suggesting that Goff "padded his stats again weak division 1 AA programs". You know where wentz went to college right?

I would be happy if Goff proves me wrong. I'll be the first one here to eat crow if he does. The Rams should never have traded up. I wanted them to draft Wentz when they did move up to #1. I think this kid Allen if given a chance will show he is better than Goff. He definitely has what Goff doesn't...football IQ....ability to sense pressure and run. Allen throws frozen ropes into tight windows. Goff throwing that ugly interception against the Chargers should make us all worry about him ever being a credible NFL QB. That interception was just plain weak. Plus, I doubt his slight frame will withstand the brutal weekly pounding in the NFL.
I just don't see why Goff was picked #1 when his college resume was playing in air raid offense that padded his stats again weak division 1 AA programs. Goff never beat a decent Pac-10 team and padded his stats in the games against UCLA and Stanford when the game was over. Goff never had a signature comeback win in college and so far none in the pros...
Let's hope he does this Sunday. Goff has a similar deer in the headlights look as Sam Bradford and defeated body language. Goff just doesn't look comfortable out there.
