Gurley has made a career out of 5 games as a rookie.
What's he done since?
I'm sick of Gurley, Gurley, Gurley.
I think the Rams would do fine, if not better, with a combo of Brown and Davis used the way the Pats use their RBs as a tag team depending on down and distance and to some degree the opponent.
It's not that Gurley is a poor back. But I see nothing much beyond rather average. He's certainly no Stephen Jackson or ED.
I've seen absolutely nothing in these preseason games to change my mind. Gurley is the Rams Zsa Zsa Gabor. She was famous for being famous. Gurley is forever strutting around and cutting it up and pretending as though he's a player at the top of the heap. Gurley is a celebrity only because........somebody tell me again why he's a celebrity, please. But the media continues to act as though he's a special player.
If I'm wrong, then show me. Gurley needs to actually do something for this team than say cool things; break some tackles, find a hole where there isn't one, break it for a long one.
And for him of all people to complain about there being too many preseason games? Crap. The dude barely plays in the preseason. Heck, he may have been in the regular season games but he was almost invisible in 2016. He has no platform to voice his opinion on much of anything NFL in my book.
