TA was a RB in HS and believes it's his best position...and he has SHOWN that when running up the middle on some motion plays or simply lining up at RB and taking a hand-off right up the gut. I think TA could be explosive as a 3rd down RB to send in motion or run draws/screens etc...while keeping our 3-4 other good WRs in too. Wouldn't that be brutal to defend??!! Watkins & reynolds deep on the outside and Kupp/Everett in intermediate routes?! We wouldn't have to pull a WR to get TA on the field...just sub him in at RB on 3rd down. TA is tough as nails.
That's a lot of options for Goff & McVay to scheme with.
