Your point on compensation is a great one! You say this:
The Rams could spend 2nd round pick after 2nd round pick after 2nd round pick and never find a WR as good as Sammy WatkinsTake a look at the 2nd round picks of the Rams for the past 15 years.
The only ones in Watkins class would be:
1) Jenkins
2) Maybe Bly
So out of 24 of them, 22 are not at his level!
And the 2 that are, probably are not either, but at least they are close. There is a much better chance that the Rams would get somebody (complete bust) like Brian Leonard or Isaiah Peed than Sammy Watkins with that #2 pick.
