So much so that even when I stumble upon a point of contention, (rare indeed), I feel no obligation or motivation to bring it up.

I really don't see how anyone can argue with the central theme of that.... 'wins'. Quite a few comments in the last few days about the piling on of Goff... and while I don't 'like it', by any means... it doesn't surprise me in the least and I don't get in a snit about it because for the most part I think it stems from the over all losing Ram's persona we are mired in... that and the lazy manner of simply repeating last year's news and interpreting it as the definitive prognostication of what is to come.
