First of all I never said that pressures don't mean a lot.

BUT I will say again they don't mean a lot to ME w/o proper context

Any qb's qbr is going to be lower under pressure, but I can quantify a sack or seeing pressure force a turnover.

And I don't need to read something off the internet to hold fast to that opinion.

I remember a couple of years ago Phillip Rivers standing in the face of Rams pressure an absolutely carving them up.

But I know if you put hits on him or take him to the ground, he'll give it up!

I value hits way more than pressures.

We see it differently, you're comfortable with your [position...I'm comfortable with mine.

If you're referring to the game in 2014 I'm not exactly sure 3-5-12 yards and an interception with a QBR of 25.0 to be much carving, but now it's off topic.

Even Shaun Hill went 6-11-71 yards and a 74.4 QBR if it means anything.

That you're saying he was only pressured 5 times in the entire game.

Actually I'm talking about 29/35 291 yards and nails when the team needed him.

What's that qbr?

He was actually sacked three times so it was 8 pressures.

But if you want to keep going and proving my point, I'll oblige:

NO Pressure= 26-30-279 yds 1 TD and 116.5 QBR. To think I thought it would have been closer to the 25.0 mark without pressure..

8 pressures? Well you provided the numbers boss.

Sorry but I don't know what you've proved.

Who doesn't know that a qb's numbers will be better against no pressure vs pressure?

That fact has never been up for debate.

Again, I have not nor am I saying now that pressures are not important.

I need context, in other words the entire picture.

Stats don't tell me what my eyeballs do.

W/o context its about as empty a stat as looking at a qb's raw interception numbers.

Qb gets credited when there is an INT, but what actually happened??

Here's a stat for ya. Despite all of the pressures by Donald and co Rams have allowed a 66% comp rate against.

Not good huh??!

Lastly and I'll let you have the last word...unsourced stats have never really flown on this board.

For all I know you could be pulling those stats...uh..out of thin air.

Source them.

Best,
