I agree. Ideally Murphy would be their 3rd OT but maybe he won't be. Maybe Havenstein and even Saffold are the de facto backup OTs this year. On game days they're going to likely have 7 OL dressed and if one is a backup center (Blythe or Eldrekamp) and the other best OL is Wichmann, for example, then maybe that explains the shuffling.
But they're tinkering with this in early August. At a walk through. Before preseason game #1. Not a big deal to me. If it's September 7th and they're doing that I'd be concerned. My guess is the starters and top 2 backups will be decided after preseason game #2 and going into game 3 vs. SD we'll see what they'll be going with.
