The only thing this discussion (along with all of the others about this topic) has highlighted is that this is obviously a complicated situation that we have precious little insight into.
Therefore it probably doesn't make too much sense to pass judgement on the people involved in actually making the deal.
Maybe AFTER it gets done there will be something worth talking about.
