Whitworth is 35. He will hit the wall soon. Sullivan is injury prone and it's not known if he can hold up over an entire season. The other guys are the same, just shuffled around. They signed a number 2 type receiver in woods. And drafted 2 guys in the 3rd and 4th rounds, not exactly impact territory unless u get lucky.
Small disagreement. Actually Sullivan had AN injury. That's not really the same as injury prone. Before the injury he missed only 3 games out of 96 possible starts from 2009-2014. He missed 2015 recovering from back surgery. He was the back-up in Washington last year and had 1 start but more than 100 snaps in addition to that one start, on both offense and special teams. Since he was blocking on special teams that means he was active every game.
So personally I would give him the benefit of the doubt. He's more than a year away from the surgery. He also knows the offense since he played for McVay last year. This is his 9th year which is not that bad for a center.
IMO they can count on him. Though having said that, it's reasonable, though, of course, to say that missing a year in 2015 because of back surgery leads to some doubt in counting on him. I think he's okay but reasonable doubt is reasonable doubt. I was only disagreeing with "injury prone." That's not quite the same thing...not to split hairs.
