I take your larger point. But don't you agree that his comment went way beyond the expected "polite" compliment from a new player joining the team?
Plus, we both know that Barwin has been around the block and pretty much seen the good, bad, and the ugly around the league. IOW, his opinion should mean something more than just coach "happytalk".
These next 6 weeks will tell the tale. Here's hoping...
