LaFleur was the qb's coach with Atlanta for one season and worked with SHanahan in Houston.
LaFleur is now the OC for the Rams, or is he?
Who will actually be calling the plays for the Rams?
La Fleur and Shanahan are close, so I wonder how much Shanahan vs Gruden influence will be in the Rams offense?
Will there be a confluence of the two?
Will it be similar to McVay's two seasons in Washington as the OC where arguably Gruden ran his offense calling plays through McVay?
As I've said before, I have no feel for this team at all this year.
In my imagination, I've had some visual glimpses of how the Offense & Defense might come together as the season moves along, but I honestly have very little of a feel for this team in general.
I'm stuck on a win total of 7 or 8 but I wouldn't be surprised with a disappointing 6 or a surprising 9 victories.
With the odd couple match of the main 2 coaches (McVay and Wade) it makes all the parts involved very hard to project no matter how familiar someone is with the personnel and new schemes on both sides of the ball.
There are many avenues of both success and failure that the 2017 Rams team can travel down and this truly makes for a unique and suspenseful outcome to the new coming season.
