Interesting to look at both Washington and Atlanta's usage and effectiveness in play action passing last year. Not saying the Rams will match this at all in 2017. But I think we'll see more and better use of it.

Atlanta was 1st in using play action passing, Washington 18th. The Rams were 26th.

And as far as effectiveness, Atlanta was 5th in yards/pass and Washington 8th. The Rams were 24th.

An improved ability stands to reason, 93.

Add McVay and LaFleur.
A presumably improved Goff.
And a talent like Gurley.
All behind an improved OL.
Stir in some WR upgrades.
A dab of increased TE threats.

What do you get? Well, I would think that you would get an O that's capable of so much more in all phases than that of the last 2 years. Certainly including play action.

This new O is gonna be fun to watch again, man.
