Of course, the caveat to ALL of this is that this is an edited program, and we don't know how our impressions might change if we had been there and seen everything.

I decided to watch it because it's a part of Ram history, good or bad. The production itself was absolutely top-notch and very fair.

Have never been a fan of the motivation by yelling loud and f-bombing technique. It seemed as the year wore on that you could see it having less and less and less effect in the players faces. My impression is that this coaching staff sometimes relied more on emotional pumping than detailed preparation.

It hurt to see some players giving their all, only to have 1st one thing and then another go wrong. I can't imagine how frustrating it much have been for them.

Some of the losses in midseason, I think the coaching staff was justified to say "we're beating ourselves". There were some serious unforced errors in the drops, and even worse than drops, popping the ball up for an easy interception by the other team. This team could have had a few more wins with just some extra concentration and discipline.

I don't want to pile on Fisher, but IMO he's a master at "taking responsibility" and fishing for sympathy at the same time. I wasn't a fan of Hekker telling the team that they got Fisher fired and let him down. His own decisions and performance led to his downfall. I think he's kidding himself when he said he wants to be back on an NFL sideline.

Contrary to some of you, I saw things again from Goff that encouraged me. Late in a losing game, the rookie QB telling the rest of the offense (veterans) to have some pride in themselves as a team, as an offense, as human beings. And then leading them on a long TD drive. Not sure where the soft leadership criticism comes from.

Keeps his eyes downfield, takes hits like a man, never complained or pointed fingers at anyone else. And yes, he can throw it. Now let's get him some more instruction and positive experience. Some receivers who run routes and catch. He can do it. And I think McVay will make it happen.

It seems obvious that Snead and McVay were very interested in both Everett and Kupp as they were evaluating before the draft. They looked pretty pleased with themselves when they managed to make a trade that allowed them to get both of them. I think those guys were targets for them, not just what was there when their turn came.

Snead looked way too cocky at the draft to me for a guy who has presided over 5 losing seasons and mostly squandered the RG3 trade.
