It got more and more depressing through 6 & 7, harder to watch. Felt bad for the terrible situation Bones was put in too.
Then came 8.
The final episode made me sit straight up in my recliner.
The fresh air of McVay is something to be hold. He's a lot more than "some young guy trying to make it in this league." He's a very impressive, intelligent, organized and energetic guy who is football smart beyond his years. His takes on Goff give me hope that I haven't had in a long time.
Also seeing where some of the former players and coaches are put closer on much that was wrong with this team for me. Especially watching Fisher squirm in embarrassment for his failures all the while still opining for another gig. Truly amazing...
So happy McVay saw fit to retain Fassel as I am a fan of his style of coaching along with his abilities. I no nothing of the lone other 2 retained coaches so if anyone cares to add their thoughts on those gents I like to hear them.
Snead & Demoff will always bother me and if somehow those two could be jettisoned I would feel the purge is complete...
This documentary could not have happened at a better time for me.
The results need to appear on the field still no doubt, but as a fan I can buy in to McVay, Wade & company and, more importantly, MY Rams again and for that I am happy and really am excited for the future of this team again!
Don't know how some want to trash Demoff/Snead in one breath and then praise McVay and how excited they are about him in the other.....???
You do realize who hired him right?
I'm sure if McVay becomes the Rams coach for the next 10 years with many winning seasons some will say "they got lucky" instead of giving credit.
